Avyancelwyd Gwasfarwolaeth. Or just Avyan, for those with no predisposition toward the A'arden-Elvish tongue. His surname means "servant of death" or "servant of mortality", and his family have served the Gods of War and Death for centuries. Avyan's primary duty was to the A'arden War God, Evander, up until his untimely loss during the Shrouding of Solace. No-one is sure exactly what happened to Avyan, but with the discovery that Orino's "Light of Summer" still exists, perhaps there is hope to find out what became of Evander's favoured Electus...

My players are currently stuck in the Border-Ethereal with the astral-corporeal form of Avyan, having carried him around as a sentient severed hand for several days. Having witnessed, and even experienced, some of the suffering Avyan went through before his descent into Non-Death, the group have developed a soft spot for him. Particularly the Fighter, who has links to a man Avyan once knew in life.
